There are many words spoken by people who are so influential that it can change history. In the Badar, when the Prophet's followers were facing a much larger number of enemies, and when fears haunted everyone, the Messenger conveyed a speech that made heaven feel in front of the Muslims, and warfare as if revolving around the Kautsar well.
Thariq bin Ziyaad managed to bring his troops over the sea. To this troop
he convinced that the only option was to fight against the enemy, because
behind it there was only a deep ocean while the ships were burned. This speech
was able to thrill the spear of his troops. Though death and death awaited the
front, the Thariq troops advanced into the cold, shattered the enemy and won.
When ibn Jauzi with his words conveyed his advice to the Muslims, the
atmosphere was so unusual. The soul was pounding, tears pouring heavily, the
silent atmosphere enveloped those who filled the assembly. With his speech,
fear came through the audience, some shouting as expressing the words of
repentance, some who were crying in tears expressing regrets, some fainted, and
a lot of people who were drowning.
When the Prophet died in the lap of Aisha, the Muslims were shaken and
grieved. Many people did not believe that the Messenger really went to the
Power. Among those who can not accept this statement is Khalifah umar. He
accused Mughira who conveyed the news of the Prophet's death as a liar. Umar
even threatened to cut off the hands and feet of anyone who considers the
Messenger to be absent. For him, the Apostle simply went on short to fulfill
God's call, as did Musa bin Imran when he was facing God for forty days.
The return of Abu Bakr from visiting his wife in Sunh after hearing the sad
news of the Prophet's death, and the speeches he then gave to the Muslims, was
a wonderful and remarkable historical record for the lives of Muslims in the
world. In the house of Aisha his daughter, Abu Bakar saw the glorious Prophet's
body lying on a burd hibara, a Yemeni embroidered cloth.
Abu Bakar uncovered the veil from the face of the Prophet and after kissing
him, he said, "How delicious it was at the time of your life, how good it
was at the time of your death." Then the Prophet's head lifted him and he
noticed that the face was indeed a sign of death. "For my mother's
sake," he said, "The Lord's death has been revealed to you, now you
have felt it. Then there will be no death for you! "How wonderful the
words of the companion of Abu Bakr this.
Outside the house of Aisyah, Umar ceaselessly persuaded the people that the
Apostle did not die. The people listening to the fiery speeches almost believed
in his words. Abu Bakar came out of Aisha's house and asked for Umar to be
patient and willing to listen to the response he would give to the restless
people. But, Umar seems unstoppable! Just after Abu Bakr had gestured, then
everyone turned to listen to the Abu Bakar response they believed to be
Ash-Siddig, who was always trustworthy. Abu Bakr opened his speech by shouting
thankfully to God's presence, thanksgiving from one of the beloved Companions
of the Messenger, who will be buried next to the Apostle in the Green Dome
above the Messenger's room!
Abu Bakr's speech, one of the most beautiful speeches, reads:
"Gentlemen! Whoever wants to worship Muhammad, then know that Muhammad has
died. But whoever wants to worship God, know that God is always alive and will
never die. "
After beginning his speech like this, he then read the word of God in the
letter of Ali 'Imran verse 144, "Muhammad is only an Apostle. Before him
too many apostles have been past. When he dies or is killed, will you turn
away? Whoever turns away, he will not hurt God at all. And Allah will reward
those who are grateful. "
Hearing this verse, Umar's legs shook so that his body fell to the ground.
He and everyone now believed that the Prophet had truly died leaving them.
There is no sorrow to befall the Muslims more powerful and more poignant than
the events of the day. However, the speech uttered by Abu Bakr will be
remembered by people throughout the ages as one of the most beautiful sayings
in the history of the phenomenon of mankind, such as the poem that reads:
"Wainnamal mar'u hadiitsun ba'dahu
Fakun hadiitsan hasanan liman wa'aa. "
"Someone will be remembered from his words after he is gone
Then speak alright to those who are still alive. "
